Biogas plant for livestock breeding complexes
Biogas plants based on animal manure are widely used around the world. Biogas from manure allows farms to reduce the cost of construction of the lagoons in about 2 times.
In the manure the organic compounds are colloidal, that prevent the free evaporation of moisture from the substrate. After the manure processing in biogas plant, the amount of organic matter is significantly reduced, and the fermented mass is separated for the separating solid fraction. There is little organic matter in the liquids, so that the water evaporates from it easily and there is no need in large lagoons to store it. An additional benefit is the fact that, unlike the lagoons, biogas plant produces energy.
Farms tend to have significant lands for growing agricultural or forage crops. Biogas production from manure helps to significantly save on the purchase of fertilizers. |
